Thought for today

Day 4

I didn’t make it to the Sanctuary today because I woke up late (I was so upset). So I called my dear friend and mentor and she said to me "spend sometime with the Lord now before you go to work". I told her that I was but it wasn’t going to be the same because at least in the Sanctuary I have no distractions.

So anyway I read my Daily Bread and took out my prayer requests and started praying, then I just sat down and starting worshipping the Lord. While I was worshipping the Lord, God said to me "do you know how to spend quality time with me"? I started laughing because I was so worried of all the distractions and not going to the Sanctuary, that I didn’t stop to think that this might have been God’s will. God just wanted me to realize that I could spend quality time with Him anywhere, I just really needed to want it so bad that I would seek him anywhere.

God is a true gentleman, he is not going to push up on you, but if you seek him I mean really seek him no matter where you are, you will find him. Try it, stop what you are doing and just call out to him, tell him you want to hang with him even if it’s for just a little while, you’ll see how quickly he will show up. When that happens I guarantee you that you will not want to let go, because it feels so good.

Today is TGIF most will say Thank God It’s Friday.
I learned, Today God Is First (TGIF), as soon as I open my eyes God is First.
