Today's Thought

Day 1

As I sit here at INO Café I ask God why did He bring me here, what was the purpose and two things came to mind:
The first was the youth we don’t pray enough for them, so I walked up and down the isles claiming each chair for a lost soul.
Then the second thing was so He can have my undivided attention. You see I can spend time with Him in the comfort of my own home (the key word being comfort) but then I get distracted or I lay back down to go to sleep because I am so tired, so He brought me to the Sanctuary where I have nothing there to distract me from just being with Him…………….How awesome is that.
We need to get out of our comfort zone if we want to get closer to God and do His will. There is a scripture that came to me while I was sitting here just hanging with Daddy, "How can I trust you to handle the big things when you can’t even handle the small things". Wow what a wake up call, I am constantly asking God to use me but yet when He uses me in the small things I am always making excuses on why I can’t. Isn’t that funny, so why would He call me for a larger task when I can’t obey Him in the smaller ones?
I was so tired, so I thought and truly procrastinated but God’s plan is always bigger than ours. He truly stopped time for me because what usually takes me a long time (that I am constantly running late to work) I was done in no time. I actually made it at 7am just like He told me to do.
So you see when God wants something done it will get done even if He has to stop time………….
